SBAR Extension and Outreach Going Strong

September is here and with it the SBAR Extension and Outreach Newsletter. The SBAR team had a summer full of activities you can read about in this edition. Area middle and high school students spent time on the New Mexico State University campus learning about SBAR research through curriculum presented by SBAR fellows. High school students were on the University of Arizona campus for internships focusing on bioeconomy, sustainability and BENCO (read about our Break-Even for New Crop Options (BENCO) model on page 2 and the internship on page 3). Research on guar and guayule continues.

We look forward to continuing our busy summer into fall with presentations, seminars, and field days in the coming months. Mark your calendar to join us for the SBAR Symposium at the ASA, CSSA, SSSA International Annual Meeting in Baltimore.
