SBAR is hosting a 4-H Biofuel Summer Camp in June at the University of Arizona in Tucson. This fun and interactive camp for junior high students will introduce biofuels and how they may power our future.

The students will:

  • Learn about guar and guayule and the process of developing biofuels.
  • Meet UArizona scientists and discover future career opportunities.
  • Make cellulosic ethanol for their final project and present what they have investigated.

Acting as researchers throughout the week-long camp, students will practice important scientific skills, develop friendships, and learn first-hand about the importance of biofuels.
