Dr. John Idowu is an Extension Agronomist and Associate Professor at New Mexico State University. His research interests are in soil health in agroecosystems, reduced tillage management, and cover cropping strategies for arid and semi-arid farming systems, among others. John’s extension and research program focuses on the integrated field crop production and management in irrigated and dryland conditions of New Mexico, with an emphasis on sustainable crop management. John’s SBAR research and extension work are focused on guar production in New Mexico, and he is the Co-Lead for the Extension & Outreach Team.
