Dennis T. Ray

Dennis Ray is a University Distinguished Professor, a Professor in Plant Sciences and Natural Resources and the Environment, and Faculty Associate in the Office of Career and Academic Services in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. His research interests include the genetics of crop plants and the domestication of new crops. At present, his research emphasizes the development of crops suitable for cultivation in arid and semiarid environments, such as guayule and guar. He earned a Ph.D. in Genetics at the University of Arizona.
