Dr. Rock is an Associate Professor in the Department of Soil, Water, and Environmental Science, and holds a joint appointment as a Cooperative Extension Water Quality Specialist at the University of Arizona’s Maricopa Agricultural Center. Dr. Rock facilitates a research-driven Water Quality Extension Program throughout Arizona, and works on the evaluation of water quality for the protection of public health as well as promoting water reuse as a safe and practical resource.
For the SBAR Project, Dr. Rock oversees the development, coordination and implementation of Project Puente, an internship program geared to high school students interested in exploring and pursuing agriculture and science-related careers.
