Cara Duncan Shopa

Cara Duncan Shopa, MS, is the program coordinator for the SBAR Education and Extension components. Cara worked as a clinical psychologist in the field of education for over 20 years, providing psychoeducational assessment and support services for children and as a community college instructor. She also provided bereavement and trauma counseling for children and families at Supporting Kidds, a bereavement center in Delaware. After falling in love with Tucson, Cara moved to Arizona and found a home at the University of Arizona, contributing to graduate student programming, community engagement, and sustainability initiatives.
