Extending a tradition of excellence, over 35 students participated in the SBAR Retreat hosted at the University of Arizona, and more than 25 participated in the student poster contest. Students from each component and partnering institution presented posters that highlighted their specific work and how it is helping to achieve the SBAR project goals. Students discussed their research and its unique contribution to the whole with researchers, Advisory Board members, educators, and other students.

Posters were judged on coverage of the research topic, rationale and SBAR connectivity, poster organization, the use of graphics, layout and design, and the conclusions presented. Prizes – donated by Bridgestone Americas – were awarded to the two top-scoring posters in intern, undergraduate student, and graduate student categories.
