This year Project Puente is partnering with SBAR to connect high school and early college students interested in science and biotechnology with scientists on the SBAR project. Interns will work directly with current research in raw material development, production, and delivery of guayule and guar in the desert Southwest. This internship is an opportunity for students and scientists to work together on real biofuel research in feedstock development, sustainable production, logistics, and economics to impact the greater biofuel economy.
By linking students to degrees and careers in agriculture and bio-technology through internships, this is an opportunity to gain valuable field and laboratory skills while spending time this summer with industry chemists, geneticists, engineers, or research scientists at the University of Arizona.
The SBAR Project Puente Internship Program is now accepting applications!
